In Cameroon as in most countries around the world, the development of materials endowed with new functionalities and designed for oriented applications remains a hot topic. Yet, materials science has great impact on other areas, including environment preseravtion, health, energy and other technologies ; thereby assuring the well-being of humans and permeating economic success of any nation. Thus, the 1st Conference on Materials and Applications in Cameroon (CMAC1) aims to bring together experts to share recent advances and discuss new opportunities and challenges in the development of materials for a more sustainable future. It provides a platform for researchers to meet and share cutting-edge development in various materials, with a focus on their applications in environment, health and energy. Young researchers, graduate scholars and early career researchers are given the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field, to present their own work while finding their place in the future world.
It will take place between 29 and 31 August 2025 at the University of Dschang (Cameroon), and you are warmly invited to join us for this scientific event.
The CMAC1 conference is organised by both the University of Dschang (Cameroon) and Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf (Germany), with the main sponsorship of the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation (Germany).
